BILL SHAWL'S STORY

A Shawl of Hope was started on 2013 in honor of our late father, Bill Shawl. Bill was diagnosed in 2003 with a disease called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (means unknown origin). The only cure was a lung transplant. Subsequently, he was placed on an organ transplant list. October 7, 2004 Bill received a double lung transplant. Bill lived the next 6 years relatively healthy.
